Description:
The tree is native to Australia. This is an attractive palm having a smooth, closely ringed trunk 10~15m tall topped with a narrower green crownshaft covered in the white bloom. The leaves have very narrow leaflets, arranged in a circular plume.
The green inflorescence is borne on a thick stem emerging from below the crownshaft, and the oval fruit are large and attractively displayed, turning orange-red at maturity.
