Description:
The tree is native to the Tropical America. It is resistant to drought and moderate. Sometimes reaches more than 25m in height. It trunk is bottle-shaped. The branches tend to be horizontal and are also covered with prickles. The flower are creamy-whitish in the center and pink towards the tips of their five petals and their shape is superficially similar to hibiscus flowers.
