Widespread throughout Southern Thailand, Malaysia, Sumatra and Borneo. An eye-catcher because of this large undivided leaves. These catch litter and direct it down around the trunk, which may remain below ground level or rise to 2meter. This palm has a short 15cm flower stalk and round warty brown 3.5cm fruits. It would be best suited to tropical shaded gardens or home rainforests.
